A message from the Principal

Posted onCategoriesPrincipals message

Hi all
We have had an amazing start to the term.  I have been blown away by the amount of children who have achieved their reading goal.  It is so wonderful to see the hard work and perseverance from all our students from Pre-Primary to year 6.  Thank you for your support at home,  the more children practise their reading the better they will become.
We have a cyber-bullying/safety talk by Paul Litherland booked in for next Thursday for our year 5 and 6 students and their parents.  Paul is a leading expert on social media safety and the legalities surrounding it.  It is a new complex world for parents and children to navigate, so this talk will be invaluable.  We invite all parents of year 5 and 6 students to join us on Thursday the 17th August at 2pm in the Beeliar school library.  A note with all the information will be going home soon.  Save this date, we look forward to seeing you then.
