Event Details

We are pleased to be able to announce that Paul Litherland is booked to come and visit Beeliar Primary School to visit our Year 5 and 6 students.  Paul is an expert in issues surrounding Cyber-safety and online citizenship.  He is highly sought after and we are fortunate to be able to secure a booking.
The presentation will focus on the following themes:

  • Cyber Bullying
  • Digital Citizenship
  • Online “footprint”
  • Online gaming and website use
  • Password issues and “hacking”

Although the presentation is directed towards the students we think they are important messages for parents to be aware of so would like to extend the invitation to the parents of our Year 5/6 cohorts.
The details of the presentation are as follows:
Date:                     Thursday 17th August (Next Thursday)
Time:                     2pm – 3pm
Venue:                 The “Hub” (Undercover Area)
Cost:                      The presentation is being paid for by the school so it is free of charge for students (and parents!)
We hope you are able to attend and share in this very important session and add to the school community’s awareness of some of the issues facing our students when they interact in our online world.  Please return the slip below to your classroom teacher to assist us with our planning for this event.
Kind Regards
Daniel Mort
Deputy Principal Beeliar Primary School
