A company called ‘Young Engineers’ have developed a range of after school STEM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to provide opportunities for primary age students to develop their 21st Century problem solving skills.
Young Engineers have developed engaging and fun programs, using Lego, to provide opportunities for students to explore the world of engineering and technology. The programs have many positive recommendations and these can be viewed via the company’s website.
We have provided our Library space for The Young Engineers to run a 5-week taster course for students from Years 1 – 4. The course will run on Monday afternoons from 17 August to 14 September. Depending on the interest in our community, they will be able to offer other programs in Term Four. You are able to find more information about these programs on the company’s website.
A flyer for the 5-week taster program this term is attached with this notice. Details on how to register for the program are on the flyer.
