How MTSS Supports Students at Beeliar
Our Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) ensures every student receives the right help at the right time across the three domains of Wellbeing, Engagement and Learning.
MTSS:
- focuses on individual student needs
- provides interconnected, tiered interventions
- considers wellbeing, engagement and learning equally
- supports staff to identify needs, plan and resource targeted strategies, monitor progress, and connect students with the right services.
At Beeliar, we use MTSS to:
- analyse school and system data to understand student needs
- work closely with parents, carers and external agencies
- implement reasonable adjustments
- access external agencies and system-level services when required.
- deliver tiered supports (universal, targeted and intensive)
Beeliar Primary is committed to strengthening and formalising our MTSS model to ensure every student is supported to achieve success academically, socially and emotionally.
